Week 1: Foundation & Test Format

  • Learn how the NCLEX uses Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT)

  • Topics: NCLEX structure, Safety & Infection Control
  • Practice: 60 questions + review all rationales

Week 2: Management of Care + Test-Taking Strategies

  • Focus on delegation, prioritization, scope of practice
  • Study: Pages on Management of Care + strategy tips
  • Practice: 100 questions (20 per day, 1 SATA set)
  • Complete mini-exam #1 (40–50 questions)

Week 3: Pharmacology Deep Dive

  • Focus on high-risk meds and major drug classes
  • Use pharmacology flashcards to review meds by system
  • Study: Pages on Pharmacology + lab value interactions
  • Practice: 120 questions (20 per day)
  • Optional: Quizlet flashcards or cheat sheet drill

Week 4: Lab Values + Safety

  • Review common labs: K+, Na+, Creatinine, INR, etc.
  • Study infection control, PPE, isolation precautions
  • Practice: 120 questions
  • Simulated Exam #1: Full-length, timed, 75–150 questions

Week 5: Health Promotion & Psychosocial Integrity

  • Developmental milestones, prenatal care, mental health
  • Practice: 100 questions
  • Focus: Communication strategies, therapeutic responses

Week 6: Physiological Adaptation

  • Emergency scenarios, critical conditions, prioritizing care
  • Study: Sepsis, shock, chest tube, burns, fluid imbalances
  • Practice: 120 questions
  • Mini-exam #2: Prioritization & delegation focus (40–60 questions)

Week 7: Comprehensive Review

  • Skim weak areas and missed topics
  • Revisit your incorrect questions
  • Study strategy recap: What tripped you up?
  • Simulated Exam #2: Timed, full-length

Week 8: Test-Readiness & Mindset

  • Take final Simulated Exam #3
